With over 20 years performing and teaching experience, Ces sees himself as a music educator with a passion for providing access to music education to as many people as possible. He has ventured into many facets of the music industry in Melbourne and abroad throughout his career which include recording, production, promotion, touring, management and education. In 2016-2017 he successfully toured South America with his solo project under the guidance of Grammy-nominated David Briggs (Little River Band). In 2020 he was accepted and funded as part of early-stage VC fund Antler startup program to explore ways in which music education could be disrupted, which led him to the foundation of Musictoot. His main passion however will always be the classroom. He holds an Arts degree from Monash University. Passionate about being able to provide the gift of music to young aspiring musicians, Annemarie has a background in psychology, singing and theatre. Taking part in choir from a young age and performing in various productions across Melbourne. Rance is an enthusiastic and passionate musician who has a passion for teaching. Having completed a Bachelor of Music (Performance) degree and having performed with multiple bands playing a variety of genres including rock, blues, jazz and soul, he sees himself as a music educator who would like to empower students to believe in their own creativity and their ability to persevere in their musical pathway. Lauren Jones is classically trained in the Violin and Piano, she has been playing for over 14 years and been teaching for the past 4 years. She is currently studying a Diploma of Music and The University of Melbourne. She has a strong passion for music and thoroughly enjoys that she gets to share her knowledge and love for music through teaching. She also pursues her musical creativity through performing at a variety of live gigs such as weddings and corporate events. Caleb is a passionate advocate for education and music whojoined the Experience Music team in 2022. With a decade of expertise in songwriting and performing, he is a versatile musician proficient in piano, guitar, and vocals. Since joining Experience Music, Caleb has dedicated himself to creating a fun and captivating music learning experience. By utilising popular music, he delves into musical concepts and nurtures students’ foundational skills. As a singer/songwriter, he empowers his students to discover their own distinct voice and style through the art of improvisation and songwriting. Caleb firmly believes that every student possesses innate creativity, and he aspires to witness their full potential unleashed Nick is a guitarist and composer. He graduated from the Australian Institute of Music in 2018 with a Bachelor of Music Performance. He has since gone on to compose music for film, theatre, ballet and video games as well as producing music with local Melbourne artists. Nick has a background in Jazz and specialises in contemporary-style guitar playing. Much like the Jazz style itself, Nick’s teaching philosophy emphasises the importance of self expression. He believes that it is crucial to know what students want to learn and what it is about music that drives them. This way he can not only make lessons fun and engaging but also relevant to each individual student. Having played and taught guitar in many different styles of music including Jazz, Rock, Funk, Latin, Classical and Swing, Nick has been fully immersed in playing, teaching and listening to music for many years. He has also maintained a strong focus on music theory and aural ability; with the personal mantra of “Read it, write it, hear it, play it” always at the forefront of his practice.
